The latest and greatest trailer for the highly-anticipated Mad Max: Fury Road movie dropped this morning – and hold onto your hats because it’s a bumpy ride!
Warner Bros Pictures have offered a sneak peek into the epic remake from the crazed but brilliant mind of director George Miller.
Set in a stark desert landscape, the film also stars a bald and anarchic-looking Charlize Theron and supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as a slave maiden.
The barren, desert landscape has looked more alien as manic mechanical cars tear through the landscape leaving fire and destruction in its wake. Villain (played by Hugh Keays-Byrne) looks and sounds eerie similar to The Dark Knight Rises‘ Bane (although MUCH scarier) – ironic considering that actor – Brit Tom Hardy – stars as Max Rockatansky.
But hey, here’s the lowdown. Within a world of fire and blood there are two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. They are Max (Hardy), a man of action but few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos.
And then there’s Furiosa (Charlize Theron), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland…
Mad Max: Fury Road will explode from Australian cinemas on May 14.
