With partial inspiration from a LeBron James quote:
“It is precisely the superficial differences between people who are otherwise alike that inform the hostilities between them.”

Father John Misty has delivered a new video for ‘The Night Josh Tillman Came To Our Apartment,’ coming from his hugely acclaimed album ‘I Love You, Honeybear’. This video places audiences as a fly on the wall within an intimate evening between Josh Tillman and himself, from drinking at a bar to snorting lines in his living room, when combined with the achingly smooth track of the song audiences are whisked into an exploration of self like none other.

Only further emphasising a certain lighthearted side to the exploration of self, writer-director-producer Drew Pearce commented, “It has been an honour to explore the palpable sexual chemistry that exists between Josh Tillman and himself. I hope this video does their enduring love affair justice.”

Father John Misty is returning to Australia this December for what is set to be an anticipation fuelled tour including performances at Disconnect, Fairgrounds and Meredith Music festivals as well as a run of headline shows.
