After filing teenage trio The Goon Sax under artists not to miss at Bigsound 2015, parts of me longed for visuals suiting to their leading single ‘Sometimes Accidentally’. Like an ode to enthralling and sleepy indie-rock, the Brisbane locals have stepped out of their bedrooms to scull sugary beverages and fumble about down the suburbs.

Fresh from high school themselves and now signed under glorious label Chapter Music, the band comprises of Louis Forster, James Harrison and Riley Jones; alongside the musical guidance of cool dad Robert Forster from The Go-Betweens. Amongst whirling cameras and awkward angles, the clip follows the organic and crooked rock tones of the single, with woozy vocal arrangements and a slow-burning and lo-fi aesthetic setting the scene throughout. If there’s anything The Goon Sax prove at such a young and talented age, it’s that a little jangle never hurt nobody.
