What were Paramount Pictures thinking when they unveiled the latest teaser trailer for the forthcoming Terminator movie?
Not only does the preview for Terminator: Genisys reveal new key plot points, it also shows more than enough of the return of Arnold “All Be Back” Schwarzenegger.
On top of glimpses of Schwarzenegger in full automaton mode, the new trailer also offers a major plot twist – and one you would not have seen coming otherwise!
It proposes an idea that’ll change everything you thought you knew about the iconic Terminator world, and make you see everything in a new light, so, if you really want to enjoy the movie come July, you better make sure you avoid this trailer until then.
Terminator: Genisys is the fifth instalment in the series, and up until now, plot detail reveals have been good. Directed by Alan Taylor and written by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier, the reboot also stars Emilia Clarke (yes, that’s Khaleesi from Game of Thrones) as Sarah Connor, Australia’s own action-man Jai Courtney as resistance leader John Connor, former Doctor Who Matt Smith, Lee Byung-hun and the Academy Award-winning J. K. Simmons.
