19-year-old Atlanta singer-songwriter Raury reveals a darker side to his music in his latest music video for ‘Devil’s Whisper,’ as he literally runs from the devil and perhaps himself.
The track itself starts off stripped back before intensifying with tribal beats and in lyrical content repeating “You better run, run from the devil,” but still with a hope of redemption “I’m not trying to be a preacher, I was never a reverend But I can take your ass to church and show you glimpses of heaven you better”.
