Melbourne based acoustic / folktronica artist TOBiAS has blessed us with upcoming new single ‘City Walk’.

‘City Walk’ brings us TOBiAS at his most moody, linking dark, catchy passages with self-reflective lyrics of deprecation, this is a song that stays with you well after it finishes. A reference to his formative years spent in Brisbane, TOBiAS wanted his then influences (The Cure, The Smiths and The Pixies to name a few) to shine, and that they do.

‘City Walk’ comes hot off the back of the AMRAP chart-topping ‘When the Sun Comes Up Again’, finding the number 1 placement, and charting comfortably for a further month. Both singles come from sophomore album Alive.

Being no stranger to the festival circuit, TOBiAS has an upcoming slot at Nimbin Roots Festival this September and has regularly appeared at Woodford Folk Festival, Happy Wanderer Festival, and not to mention extensive national tours.

With a deeply personal approach to his music, make sure you catch TOBiAS on tour and give latest effort ‘Alive’ a listen.
