Reigning from Western Australia, Hip Hop/Indie act Mathas is renowned for his brutally honest controversial lyric style. Making no exception, his latest video release for ‘Enforce Less’ highlights the restrictions placed on the Australian population by various state laws.

Offering up a truly Aussie visual treat, the brand new video sees Mathas in a faux outback scene, buried up to his shoulders in red dirt, with a can and pair of tongs in hand, naturally.

Directed by Aaron McCann, the music clip sees the local singer-songwriter touching on issues including the rising road toll, sentencing laws and spending schemes.

Drawing on the common theme of his latest record, Armwrestling Atlas, Mathas is seen in a vulnerable state, with no control over his surroundings, not even to escape a nearby bower constrictor.

Reiterating his view of a society plagued with distrust and deceit, Mathas is clearly using the visual release to draw attention, and boy did it work on me.

Mathas is currently playing shows across Australia and is sure to be sharing a view or two.
