If you haven’t heard of them, Francisco’s Fortune is Manik Mayadunne’s love child with acclaimed producer Lachlan Mitchell.  ‘The Bells’ is the second single from their debut EP ‘Sans Inhibitus’, and it hits most of the right marks.

Just as raw as the first single ‘Magnetic Lines,’ the clip’s concept centres around the primary themes of an intimate relationship.

In this case, ‘The Bells’ speaks of love and loss, but in a very natural way. “3 Months with the world between us / too long to put me on hold / Just a moment to drop the line out / leave me hanging on a one way call” – perhaps a little cheesy, but haven’t we all struggled for a little intimacy over the telephone once in a while?

If you are a big fan of the indie-pop genre, give these boys a listen.

Francisco’s Fortune will head on an east-coast tour to promote the new EP, kicking off Friday 1st of May in Queensland.
