Bold, bright and captivating; Emma Louise’s newest release ‘Underflow’, is partnered with a music video that is simply a work of art. Shot by Dylan Duclos, the visuals of cracking plaster against a crisp white background teamed with soft textures, adds to the softly spoken vocals and the overall fragility of the piece. The quite literal explosion of colours and sensual movement of the accompanying dancers adds depth, bringing the viewer to answer for themselves what exactly is emerging from the ‘underflow’ onto the surface. I suppose good art should always do that; create an emotional response, and Louise’s certainly does. The track is the single from Louise’s forthcoming second album, having already achieved frequent airplay on Beats 1 and triple j.  Emma Louise’s graceful, and revamped aesthetic is clever, oh so very cool and wildly artistic.
