Fresh-faced Brisbane band The Creases have released the video for their Joy Division-esque new single ‘Gradient’, from their recent EP of the same title.

Just in time for Halloween, the video has a quirky narrative, at times being completely weird. Changing spooky scenarios constantly, it features the likes of a werewolf, a headless man and a pool of blood (acted mostly by the band). Apparently, it was shot over two nights at a friend’s parent’s house, somewhere in Brisbane. On top of writing/singing/playing guitar on the song, Joe Agius also directed and starred in the video. Here’s what he had to say about the concept:

“We were pretty stuck for ideas and wanted something as chaotic as the song is, so Aimon came up with this spooky/spoopy concept with the intention it’d be coming out this month leading up to Halloween.
