Ethereal London rockers Florence + The Machine have released an artistic video to accompany their brand new track, ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful‘.
The song – the first since their 2011 album Ceremonials – features flame-haired front woman Florence Welch‘s distinctively quivering, soaring vocals over a swelling celestial orchestral score, albeit briefly.
The music clip depicts the 28-year-old singer dancing intimately with a woman, the pair matching in cream trousers and a low-slung vest. Florence and her doppelgänger dancing partner – whose face remains obscured throughout – sway and intwine together in a choreographed routine, mirroring each other against the abandoned backdrop of an empty, outdoor auditorium.
The short artful video was directed by Tabitha Denholm and Vincent Haycock and is typically bizarre and minimalistic.
Florence + The Machine’s official album will be released in due coarse, with more details set to be revealed once main single ‘What Kind of Man‘ is released this week. Other track titles from the new record include ‘Ship To Wreck‘, ‘Caught‘, and ‘Delilah‘.
