The Telstra Road To Discovery platform has just announced it is now taking entries from unsigned musicians to take full advantage of a career kickstart.

The Telstra Road To Discovery platform offers two aspiring artists a $15,000 music development fund to help fund their musical endeavours, as well as a trip to the United States to perform at the Americana Music Festival.

In early July, the program was successfully launched with support from ex Killing Heidi heiress Ella Hooper, with a lending hand from super talent Andy Bull. The night also featured performances from last years worthy recipients Christopher Coleman and Helen Shanahan.

In addition to her appearance at the launch, Hooper will also perform at heats, Semi-Final and Grand Final, and will be moderator and panellist at Boot Camp in October.

Past recipients of the programs include Jessica Mauboy, Neda, Melody Pool, just to name a few.
