Angus and Julia Stone have released another single from their forthcoming studio album.

The album, recorded with Rick Ruben, so far sounds authentic, with each song carrying a narrative. For a while the brother and sister act went their own ways musically. They made and wrote their own songs, in their own way. Their solo records proved that their style and delivery is unique and illustrated that they are not wholly bound as one entity. They both explored different subject matters, and were free to enjoy, and challenge, their own musicality and live performance skills. It was not a problematic or unhappy parting, it was simply time for a change.

After many years of touring and living in one anothers pockets, they ventured off to explore the world. After a period of travel and adventure, they find themselves back together, and it is a happy reuniting. All the while they have been soaking up new material for songs, and it seems that this new record will be full to the brim with memories, recollections and shared ideas and feelings about life, love, loss and other such things that continue to unravel with time. Naturally, they have that innate sensibility to harmonise and have the ease and comfort to share honest songwriting, in theĀ inimitable way that only siblings and family can.

The pair will be playing Splendour in the Grass before venturing off on a national tour.
