Eclectic music producer Andrei Eremin has dropped a music video for ‘Anhedoniac,’ from his upcoming debut EP, Pale Blue.

Eremin has an impressive back-catalogue of production credits, previously mastering Chet Faker’s successful EP, Thinking in Textures, and Hiatus Kaiyote’s most recent album, Choose Your Weapon.

The music video, directed by James Brett and Louis Mitchell, was shot in Melbourne, during a one day shoot from dawn until dusk. Commenting on the video, Mitchell explains, “it’s a sign of poor health to be well adjusted to a sick society.”

Anhedoniac,’ which features Perth electronica artist, KUČKA as the vocalist, focuses heavily on stripped-back production, possessing a gentle, floaty vibe. This compliments the video heavily, which depicts a group of care-free friends on an impulsive night out. Interestingly, anhedonia refers to an inability to experience pleasure during normally pleasurable experiences.

Andrei Eremin will independently release Pale Blue on August 28, 2015.
