British multi-talent DJ Alex Metric has released an uplifting music clip for his latest dance track ‘Heart Weighs A Ton‘.
The video follows the true story of 60-year-old Glenn Bruno living an ordinary and lonely life following the death of the love of his life Robin, five years earlier.
Bruno explains, “I became very depressed, but three years ago I dedicated myself to follow my dreams of being a performer, a dancer. And that’s why I do it, I dance for Robin.”
The video, a la ‘Lonely Boy’ from The Black Keys, shows Bruno’s transformation from dancing his heart out around his suburban L.A home, to the bright lights of a studio. The inspiring clip is complemented by the incredibly emotive lyrics of the electronica track.
Heart Weighs A Ton is available to pre-order on iTunes, and will be released on October 3rd in Australia via Hussle Recordings.
