Alt pop project Segue Safari have been a relevant part of the Perth music scene since they burst on to it with their debut EP Friends in 2016. We got to have a listen to their upcoming sophomore effort due for release on the 2nd of June, and it’s a fantastic segue into their next chapter. Pun intended.

Salutations is a colourful, thoughtful four track EP, and sounds something like the love child of The Beatles and Tame Impala. The first track ‘Colour TV’ was released in October last year, so the release of this EP has been a few months coming. The sound is smooth and a sweet, modern slice of psychedelic pop.

Led prodigious front man Jeremy Segal, the young group demonstrate a sound that is sophisticated and refined.

The band are celebrating the release of Salutations on June 10th with a launch party at The Bird in Northbridge, supported by Regular Boys, Lana and Ryan Beno. Check out the Facebook event here.
