The Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra teamed up with Miguel Zenon, one of the world’s most celebrated saxophonists and his quartet from New York at the Basement in Sydney on Thursday 4 June, 2015.
Blending the often contradictory poles of innovation and tradition, Miguel Zenon has a unique voice as a composer and conceptualist, marrying the rich traditions of Latin American folkloric music and jazz.
Support came from the Sydney Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra.
