Liam, of Triple J’s Ben and Liam fame, and Cassie, a Triple J listener, threw an epic joint birthday party at 170 Russell on Thursday 15 June and we were there to capture the action. To entertain the crowd, they invited along their mates Gen Fricker, Dom Alessio and Alex Lahey for some killer DJ sets. Frankston’s own Illy teamed up with Canberra’s Peking Duk for probably the most energetic set of the evening, before Confidence Man rounded off the night with a little bit of disco.
