James Vincent McMorrow played to a sold out crowd at The Triffid in Brisbane, with local band Moreton supporting. JVM discovered Moreton himself through his record label and is bringing them along for the whole ride of his Australian tour. There was a mix of new and old songs played on the night from, ‘We Move’ and also, ‘Post Tropical’. The highlight of the night would have to have been when JVM announced that we were moving into the ‘sad-dancing’ part of the night. Who doesn’t like to have a little dancing while James sings “Because you make me feel alive, In spite of rising water” – Rising Waters.
