Experimental hip-hop fans, listen up! Gracing Australian stages for the first time as part of Listen Out Festival 2014, Young Fathers are returning to Australia to celebrate their new record White Men Are Black Too. With headline shows pinned down for Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel in January 2016, these shows will naturally accompany their already announced appearances on Falls Festival, Field Day and Southbound.

With their shifting lyricism that’s loaded with social political commentary complimented by flamboyant, dark instrumentals, Young Fathers have been hailed as fierce representatives of dichotomy in music and experience. As The Guardian noted about their 2015 release, “This passion for politics permeates the album, but, crucially, so does their love of music. It may be a protest album at times, but one that never forgets to keep things exciting for the listener.”
