Brisbane Record Fair Sat 9th August 10AM-3pm

If you’re a vinyl head in Brisbane’s West End, you’re in luck this coming August. The Brisbane record fair is spreading across three stellar venues including The Hi-fi Bar, The Rumpus Room and The Boundary hotel on Saturday August 9. Head a long to sift through over 50,000 records and pick up some rare finds and bargains.

Wil Wagner (The Smith Street Band)/ Georgia Maq 7″ Launch – Melbourne – Sydney

Having already sold out his initial Northcote Social Club show (which resulted in a second being announced), Will Wagner’s solo tour is beginning to shape up as one of the most highly sought after shows of the year, with the Sydney date almost certain to follow suite.

The tour will also be supported by Georgia Maq, who will be launching her very own 7″ on the night in support of Wagner.

Oasis Re-release Classic

Iconic Brit rock release ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ is set to touch down in Australia very soon, in the form of a special edition 2xLP.

“To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Oasis’ ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ comes the Chasing The Sun remastered edition, from Big Brother Recordings. Recorded between May and June 1995 in Rockfield Studios, Monmouthshire, with Owen Morris and Noel Gallagher producing and released on October 2nd 1995 in the UK, ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ sold a record-breaking (at the time) 347,000 copies in its first week. The album spent 10 weeks at No.1 in the UK, and is Oasis’s most commercially successful, with 22 million copies sold worldwide to date, including 4 million in the US.”
