It’s been a busy couple of years for Way of the Eagle, aka writer, producer, musician and composer Jan Skubiszewski. After collaborating with Aussie favourites Dan Sultan, Illy and Harry James Angus of The Cat Empire, and composing music for cinematic hit Bran Nue Dae, he’s now announced an east coast tour to support the release of his upcoming album KODO, out June 19th.

The tour, which will hit Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, will include special guests Dan Sultan, Benji Lewis and Ceeko, as well as appearances by Emily Lubitz and Samm T in Melbourne only.

To get fans even more amped, Way of the Eagle has released the latest single off the album, ‘Sweet Addiction‘, featuring American soul musician Bobby Saint. Following the tone of previous hits ‘Rattlesnake‘ and ‘Shadows‘, the track is positively dripping with old school funk, lead nicely by Saint’s cool and refreshing vocals. Backed by a big ensemble band, this one’s just begging to be played live.
