Sydney’s marquee event Vivid Festival is starting soon, and has just announced musical acts and art that’s set to blow your socks off!
Apart from the amazing light displays at Circular Quay that attracts the crowds in their thousands, Vivid Festival in conjunction with Sydney Uni has announced their music program at the Seymour Centre.

Under the two titles of New Wave Sound and Musify + Gamify, the events are an array of musicals, installations, debates and exhibitions.

Some of the most exciting on the bill include Gothic, a dark musical composed by award-winning Sydney composer Andrée Greenwell and lyrics form Australian icons such as Nick Cave. Another event called: Senex et Sonis: Old Sounds, is a sure hit, presenting the historical and musical relevance of the instrument every primary school student loves to hate; The Recorder.

Music + Gamify also rejuvenates music conversation through restrospective pieces on the history of music and discussions on how far have we really come in the past century.
