Calling all musicians, producers, MCs and songwriters: for the eighth year in a row, triple j Unearthed High is once again on the search for the country’s best high school music act of 2015.
After the success of previous winners, including Japanese Wallpaper, Stonefield and Asta, the annual competition has become a growing portal for discovering fresh, untapped Australian talent.
The coveted prize will see the act flown to the triple j studios to have their winning song recorded by an industry professional, receive airplay on the Triple airwaves, and get professional advice from a top tier Australian act and their team. To top it all off, triple j will make a visit to the winning act’s high school.
Finalists will be announced August 10th, and the winner revealed August 20th, so gets to composing!
