In a fantastic initiative, triple j Unearthed and rage have once again teamed up with the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) for a unique opportunity set to combine Australia’s most talented emerging artists with the creative brains of NIDA students.
A team of NIDA students will bring their skills, expertise and professional equipment into collaborations with six lucky Unearthed artists to create a music video, which will then be aired on rage.
If you are in a band or a solo act, or are a producer or MC, triple j Unearthed want to hear from you now! To become eligible for this wonderful opportunity, simply follow the prompts below:
1. Create a triple j Unearthed profile.
2. Contact us with a link to your triple j Unearthed profile by Sunday 3 April.
The six finalists will be teamed up with the best young NIDA directing, design and production students to conceive and execute a music video, with film equipment, locations for studio shooting, access to supporting NIDA departments and a budget of $200 all inclusive thanks to NIDA. The resulting music videos will then be broadcast at a later date on ABC1’s rage.
In 2015 NIDA students teamed up with Polish Club and Donatachi for some spectacular results, so don’t miss your chance to follow in their footsteps!
