Regional Arts Victoria have just announced a Small Town Transformation Fund, enabling small communities an artistic grant of $350,000.

As a part of a rejuvenation of the Victorian Arts scene, RAV are offering six small towns with populations under 2,000 people the opportunity to become involved in the broader art scene through an art grant, that will help realise their artistic endeavours over 2 years.

Regional Arts Victoria are looking to challenge the thinking of artists living in small towns, asking: “What kind of creative project would inspire a culture of artistic risk-taking in your town? What would encourage new work to be made, shared and discussed? What would attract new audiences as well as new makers?

Expressions of interest are open from now until February 29.
