It’s been 25 years since undergroundLOVERS first became a thing. To celebrate they are playing two special performances at The Toff in Town on a weekend in March. Young music lovers may not be familiar with the fact that Underground Lovers’ debuted album won an ARIA awards, they supported the likes of The Cure, Ride and My Bloody Valentine and had a song in the top 20 of the 1994 Triple J Hottest 100.

The shows will be split between the years of undergroundLOVERS’ existence, with ‘Everybody’s Favourite’ featuring songs from the earlier years between 1989-1993 and the Sunday gig ‘Wonderful Things’ involving the band playing songs from 1994 up to the present day.

To help celebrate ‘Past Present’ – Rubber Records will release “Can For Now”, the third single from last year’s ‘Weekend’ album.  Some rare recordings will also be available as B sides as part of the release.
