Brisbane shoegazers, Major Leagues are set to celebrate the release of their debut EP Weird Season with their first-ever Australian headline, commencing in February 2014, supported Melbourne’s The Ocean Party.
Major Leagues’ three singles from their debut Weird Season – ‘Teen Mums’, ‘Endless Drain’ and ‘Silver Tides’ – have catapulted the four-piece into the global blog sphere in 2013, drawing praise from tastemakers in the USA, Canada, South America, Asia, Europe, South Africa, and the UK – where they have just picked up airplay on leading digital radio station Amazing Radio.
Having spent the majority 2013 on the road, performing alongside internationals Beach Fossils (USA) and Wild Nothing (USA), as well as locals The Preatures, Violent Soho, Ball Park Music, and Jeremy Neale and many more. Major Leagues are looking forward to their very first headline shows for their ‘Weird Season EP Tour’, with The Ocean Party supporting all dates.
