For those of you who haven’t had a finger on the pulse of electronic-pop group Glades, of whom sprung forth from Sydney, Australia, you’re about to have a fix that’ll leave you wanting more. After forming in 2015, Glades, which is comprised of three members: lead vocalist, Karina Wykes, and multi-instrumentalist producers, Cameron Robertson and Joseph Wenceslao, have continued on to reach new heights.
With over 50 million streams, their single ‘Do Right’ has propelled the group to new level of recognition while also earning them an ARIA certified gold record.
This November, Glades intends to follow up their hit single and 2016 EP, This is What It’s Like, with their hotly-anticipated debut album, To Love You, which is set to debut November 2, and a national tour which can’t be missed.
After a ravenous reception from their performance at Listen Out 2018, Glades intend on embarking on a national tour, presented by Triple J, across Australia which will highlight the group’s debut album, through their To Love You National Tour.
Set to kick off in Melbourne on November 24that The Corner Hotel, the band will be travelling through to performances at Jack Rabbit Slims in Perth on the 30th; JIVE in Adelaide on December 1st; Metro Theatre in Sydney on the 6th; before concluding in Brisbane at Woolly Mammoth on the 7th.
This tour promises to feature the unmatched musical-stylings of Glades in a live and wondrous experience of their forthcoming album, while also including a selection of singles from their previous EP and releases.
