Just in case you missed it (you probably haven’t, unless you live under a rock), Splendour In The Grass dropped a ridiculously good line-up this week. There are so many amazing artists to see, it’s hard to believe they squeeze all of them into 3 days! It’s so hard to pick, but I’ve listed 5 artists who I think are a must-see at the festival.

JAMES BLAKE
The electro-crooner is returning to our shores for the first time since 2013. I’m super excited, because he dropped ‘Modern Soul’ way back in February and there’s still time for a new album to drop between now and Splendour (PLS IT’S BEEN TOO LONG). Either way, there’s likely to be a lot of new material played at the show, and that’s super exciting, too.

LEON BRIDGES
The soul master from Fort Worth, TX is back after only being in Australia in January with Laneway Festival. If you missed him then, you really don’t wanna miss him again: this man will croon and swoon and by the end of his performance, there’s a high chance you’ll be completely in love.

JACK GARRATT
This man is one of my favourite new artists. After winning the BBC Sound of 2016 poll amongst some other awesome accolades, it’s safe to say Jack Garratt is killing it right now, and it’s so awesome that he’s making his way down under. If the YouTube clip below is anything to go by, he’s gonna give one helluva performance!

THE INTERNET
Also in Australia recently for Laneway, the Los Angeles neo-soul outfit are back to wow the crowds again. Their most recent album ‘Ego Death’ was nominated for a Grammy, and I hear their live performances are captivating. I’m pissed off I missed them earlier this year, I won’t be doing it again!

LÅPSLEY
Haunting, beautiful and brilliant: I can’t think of a better way to describe Låpsley’s music. The 19 year-old out of Liverpool has been on the rise since being nominated for BBC’s Sound of 2015 poll. I don’t know much about her, honestly, but I’m a big fan of her debut album.

Tickets are on sale Thursday 21st of April at 9am.
