Ever been watching Narcos and wish you could’ve been there? Weird… But if so, you’re in luck. Following the massive success of Netflix series NarcosJavier Pena & Steve Murphy are set to touch down in Australia next July to divulge all the sordid details of their epic take-down of Pablo Escobar. For those of you who aren’t in the know, Escobar was known as the “king of cocaine” – a pretty notorious title – and Pena and Murphy are the DEA agents responsible for shutting him down once and for all.

Why was Escobar known as the king of cocaine? Simple: the Colombian drug lord was the wealthiest criminal of the 20th century, due massively to his power and violence which saw the deaths of, among others, three Colombian Presidential candidates, over 200 judges and more than 1,000 police officers. And it doesn’t stop there – Escobar was also responsible for killing countless innocent bystanders during his effort to kill an unknown number of competing members in the drug trafficking business. Keen to find out how his defeat really went down? You won’t want to miss Capturing Pablo: An Evening with Javier Pena & Steve Murphy.
