The Vaccines have premiered the music video for their latest single ‘Minimal Affection‘, from their upcoming third album, English Graffiti

For the majority of the video the viewer is taken for a ride into the outer orbit of the earth, as a point of view camera attached to the side of a retro rocket ship takes a single long shot of it’s ascent into outer space.

The music video is quite transfixing and dazzling as we see the rocket slowly distancing itself from the earth, serving as a possible metaphor for two distant lovers losing affection for each other. The video couples beautifully with the flange-soaked guitars and heavily reverberated vocals, further adding to the ethereal and almost dream-like feel of the song.

The Vaccines will be back in Australia to play Splendour In The Grass as well as two side shows with special guests, Palma Violets.
