London teenager The Japanese House (aka Amber Bain) has released a nostalgic new video for single ‘Cool Blue’.

Not much is known about the up and coming 19 year old. Bain’s kept things private, which suits her sound perfectly. Taken from her European travels, the clip is a lo-fi montage of buildings and bubbles and skateboards tinted in blue. It’s the visual equivalent of the track, which features layered Marika Hackman-esque vocals (who Bain shares a label with) and builds to a sweet, upbeat chorus.

‘Cool Blue’ is from The Japanese House’s debut EP Pools to Bathe In, due out November 6 via Dirty Hit.
