Just days after releasing ‘Impact’, their first single for 2016, The Creases have delighted fans, announcing a string of East Coast tour dates. The latest record from the Brisbane band  is another testament to their status as fan favourites and their knack for bringing together relatable lyrics and carefully layered guitars and drums that are rinsed with a feeling of nostalgia.

The record demonstrates the daring nature of The Creases as they continue to push the envelope and cement their own unique sound. The end result is an anthem that is brazenly brash and uplifting at the same time.

Vocalist and guitarist Joe Aguis recently took home the QMusic Award for Most Promising Male Songwriter, the certified brain behind the charisma embodied in Impact’s lyrics, “The song talks about the struggles to keep a balanced lifestyle and relationship with people, work and sleep when everything you do creatively requires you to be unbalanced. It’s been a highlight for us to play live for a while now so we’re super excited to finally have it out in the world”, Aguis notes.

Impact and the rest of The Creases catalogue will be taken on stage when they embark on their tour. For more information and ticketing click here
