The Bennies, fuelled by a similar energy to a mob of rambunxious little children leaving a party, lollie bag in hand, and a blood-stream of 90% red cordial, found themselves off to a globe-stomping start to the year. After being tokened a ‘must-see’ on 2015 Soundwave Festival, The Bennies smashed out Triple J’s Like A Version, nailing it to move on to Golden Plains which lead onto their Party Whirlwindtour which boozily cememented their way into our hearts, as easily as drunk girls form friendships in nightclub bathrooms.

From a period where they seemed to be absolutely everywhere at once, The Bennies found themselves in an unprecidented calm, however they are emerging from their momentary respite to recommence the pure alcohol infused chaos, with the an announcement of a National Australian tour right in time for summer.

Their remergence is set to warm up at their favourite bush doof Psyfari, rolling on to the biggest event on the Melbourne punk rock calendar Poison City Weekender sharing the stage with many old friends they have made along the way. Continuing on to join fabled punk rock legends Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish on their East Coast Australian Tour in early October.

Following this, one would forgive them for a period of calmness once more, however, fresh off the East Coast tour The Bennies find themsevles swinging over to the USA to visit old fans and friends at Florida’s Fest. Jumping straight back into an extensive headlining national tour of Australia with mates The Hard Aches and Wet Pensioner.

The national tour consists of a stint of 18 shows, allowing cities that often get skimmed over on national tours such as Hobart, Bunbury, Ballarat, Cairns and Darwin to all be invited to what is set to be an inevitably messy, good-vibes, loose-times filled tour.
