The Temper Trap are returning to their hometown, Melbourne, for an exclusive and intimate show.
The stripped-back performance will be held on friday the 24th of November at the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall of the Melbourne Recital Centre. Supported by Bus Vipers, the show will feature fan-favourite songs in a new light, stripped down to their powerful, core essences.
Having released their eponymous EP in 2006, The Temper Trap has made their mark on the world. In 2009, the band won an ARIA award for their hit single, ‘Sweet Disposition’, catapulting them into international spotlight. Across the span of a decade, the band has hit platinum, double platinum and triple platinum sales, with the album Conditions having more than 2 million copies sold worldwide.
The Temper Trap may be unplugging for this one-off performance but in no way are they losing the essence of who they are. The transcending lyrics and vocals of Dougy Mandagi, as well as the band’s inherent vivacity and captivating melodies, will carry through and urge audience members to listen closer and deeper.
