In the wake of their audience enchanting comeback show at Splendour In The Grass this year, Tame Impala quickly reinforced to their fans that all the built up anticipation was justified, taking to the stage and emphasising to audiences and critics alike that the wait was well worth it.

Going on to deliver what has gone on to become one of the most widely chronicled performances for the band, it was confirmed this morning that Tame Impala are back, following the release of one of 2015’s most highly anticipated albums, the bands third full length studio album Currents, the band are set to return to Australian stages for what is set to be a collosal national tour at the end of the year.

The tour kicks off on Saturday 7th November at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, followed by what is sure to be an electrifying show at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Wednesday 11th November, before heading to Perth’s Belvoir Amphitheatre on Saturday 14th November, the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide on Wednesday 18th November, winding things up at the Brisbane Riverstage on Saturday 21st November.

Frontman, writer, performer and producer, Kevin Parker, has seen the band transcend within their latest album Currents, bringing about the the most playful, bold and varied Tame Impala release to date. This capturing a blindingly colourful, lyrically dense, introspectively driven final product, which is set to inspire awe and anticipation among audiences nationally with opportunity to see the ensemble come to life on stage once more.

Don’t miss the opportunity to see the Tame Impala showcase Currents, in their first Australian show since Splendour In The Grass, accompainied by Los Angeles three-piece Mini Mansions throughout their entire tour, joined on their weekend shows by Fremantle collective Koi Child, this tour is set to whimsify audiences in outdoor amphitheatre’s nationally.
