Electronic music lovers and enthusiasts will this year again have the chance experience a first hand look into the global electronic music industry at the 2016 Electronic Music Conference. The event provides an opportunity for producers, creators, designers, and lovers of music to network and learn from each other in one big space. Even if electronic music is a small part of your playlist, it’s still a great opportunity to learn the tricks of the trade and the methods used by industry experts to make the ordinary ‘extraordinary’.
Topics highlights this year include Nightlife: The Future Of Australia’s Night Time Culture; How LGBTI Culture is Pioneering the Club Experience; Pressing Matters: Why Vinyl Is On The Rise; Coming To You Live: Connecting With Audiences Through Live Streaming; and many many others.
Renowned for constantly producing a line-up of industry giants, the 2016 event sees this trend continue. The event will feature Mirik Milan the mayor of the nightlife, Martin Phillips the man behind Daft Punk’s famous alive your pyramid design, Toby Pike from Toby & Pete who will provide insight behind some of Australia’s most well-known videos and live shows. Rounding off the panel will be one of the most influential electronic music artists of all time, Leftfield. With over 150 speakers anticipated to contribute to the EMC, 2016 is set to be the biggest in the event’s history.
The event will include a series of panels, roundtables, workshops and masterclasses at its fifth incarnation, which takes place Monday November 28 – Friday December 2, 2016.
