The Surry Hills Music Festival, which sees musicians, businesses, designers and more celebrate their suburb, has just unveiled their first round line-up of artists.

The line-up includes dream-pop group, Noire as well as Darwin based singer-songwriter Leah Flanagan and Sydney folk trio Sons of East. Among these artists are Melbourne based surf-rock duo, The Stiffys as well as blue-grass group The Pigs.

These acts will join a selection of artists from the Australian Institue of Music (AIM) on a specially made stage. The entire event aims to bring together the culture, diversity and energy of the inner-city suburb in NSW. The day will be a family-friendly event that is free to attend by donation.

Any funds raised from the day will go toward programs in the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre.
