Grace Jones.
Wait, let me reiterate – heaven.
Thousands will be ready to drip sexuality to smash hits such as ‘Slave to the Rhythm’ and ‘Pull Up to the Bumper’ come end of May. Remember that satin blazer you use to wear? Jones does.

Being a part of Vivid SydneyModularpeople (along with Destination NSW and Carriageworks) have just announced Jones will return to Australia to perform two shows only, exclusively to Modulations at Carriageworks.
This muse to many artistic trends in fashion, music, and pop culture is known not only for her long-spanning career (now 66 years of age), but for her incredibly visual and artistic sets. Disco to funk, pop to groove, this queen makes magic on the stage.
Could be the best $127 you will spend this year.

Vivid Sydney is the annual event of light, music and ideas which runs from the 22 May to the 8th of June, while Modulations runs at Carriageworks from 31st May to the 7th of June.
Joining the Modulations line-up is Pharaoh Sanders (June 5th and June 6th), and Bill Drummond (June 6th) from 1980’s pop group KLF.
Last time Jones came down under was back in 2011 to sold out shows, so be sure to snap up those tickets quickly.
Jones will only perform in Sydney with no other shows been announced thus far.
