The St Kilda Festival has announced the line-up for its Live N Local program, which sees St Kilda’s renowned music venues, restaurants and shops open their doors to host intimate gigs from the local area’s best talent. The popular Live N Local program runs for a week between Sunday 1 February and Saturday 7 February 2015, and will see 62 performances and 56 bands across 22 St Kilda Venues.
The Live N Local program will close on Festival Sunday, with a dedicated Live N Local Village hosting an array of local traders as well as local acts onstage including; Since We Kissed, Snake Eyed Rollers, O’Ziriguidum, Centre & The South, Belle Roscoe, Halcyon Drive, Straylove, PASSERINE and The Fabric.
Live N Local officially kicks off on Sunday 1 February and ends on Festival Sunday, 8 February. Throughout the week, some of Melbourne’s finest will perform at some of St Kilda’s most popular music venues as well as some more unique venues. Acts throughout the week include Cheeky Goose, Funkalleros, BLT’s, Sara Jane, Belle Roscoe, Altija, Soul Safari, Brooklyn’s Finest, De La Calle, Sinks, Karen Moreno, and Georgina Ward.
