Sydney rockers Spookyland have served up a six-minute treat ‘Bulimic’, the first taste from their forthcoming debut album. The lads recently made quite the impression with their performance at Lollapalooza where they were named as Consequence of Sound’s top ten acts not to miss.
The track is a swirling crescendo that encompasses their entire spectrum with piercing country soaked vocals. A track about social friction, self-esteem and one’s own humanity, you fall into a slow building tornado of wonderfully brittle rock and roll.
A perfect distraction from your day and definitely worth six minutes of your time.
