This November will see the first ever instalment of Australian Music Week (AMW), a vibrant new conference and festival held in Cronulla NSW, showcasing all that Australian music has to offer, including live talks, performances, and music industry networking.

The Festival has announced a new partnership with music provider SoundsLikeCafé (SLC). Providing over 1200 Australian cafés with compilation CD’s and digital copies of brunch-friendly tunes for 10-years, SLC has teamed up with AMW to host a series of acoustic music sessions at the 7-day conference, that aim to provide its contributing artists with extra opportunities to aid their musical journeys.

With a huge bunch of artists that use SLC’s services including the likes of Sarah BlaskoHoly Holy, Josh Pyke, The Basics, and Suze Demarchi, the AMW acoustic sessions will surely feature some big names in Australian music.

SLC has already appeared at festivals such as Peats RidgeCoastFest, Ironfest, Sydney Blues and Roots, so the Sydney festival will only add to an already well-established SLC tradition of stage-hosting across Australia’s festival network.
