Oozing of perpetual coolness, Sarsha Simone has just graced us all with the music video to her catchy track, ‘Casualty’. The Australian singer/songwriter’s first major single is an R&B-infused pop track set to stay in your head all day long. Catchy from the get-go, ‘Casualty’ is seductive and soulful – combining a bass-driven production with Sarsha’s massive vocal range. Sounding like a throwback to noughties R&B, ‘Casualty’ is a firecracker – inviting you to get your groove on each time it plays – no matter where you are or whom you’re with.
Having just dropped the accompanying visuals to ‘Casualty’ only a few days ago – it’s easy to see why Sarsha Simone is just so damn cool. The music video follows Sarsha wandering the streets of London, before heading to a Sydney rooftop – embodying what can only be described as striking and stunning: it’s Sarsha’s baby pink fur coat against the pale graffiti-clad background of Hackney – then it’s her turquoise shirt and diva-gold earrings against Sydney’s industrial skyscrapers. Aesthetics aside, the ‘Casualty’ video is the perfect partner to the amazing song. Check it out!
