Dipping its toes into the louder side of life, the NSW State Library is staging the first major retrospective of premier Australian rock photographer Tony Mott.

Featuring over 300 images from his extraordinary archive, the exhibition will hold host to some of Mott’s most famous images from his time as a photographer, including images of the Rolling Stones, Björk and Nirvana.

Along with some Aussie rock legends such as INXS, Cold Chisel, and Midnight Oil, the exhibition hopes to revive some of the rock left inside of us this October, launching his new book Alphabet A – Z: Rock ‘n’ Roll Photography at the event.
