Peter Bibby has been described as “a naughty bastard with a heart of gold and a voice of rotting grapes” as well as “a sweet cup of sauce”. You make up your own mind as to this though…

Bibby’s certainly been busy since bursting onto the Australia Music scene a little less than 12months ago. His debut album, Butcher/Hairstylist/Beautician, is out in the world, he was invited on the national run with Laneway Festival and made his debut SXSW appearance last month with music industries types turning up in droves.

Now, Mom + Pop and Mermaid Avenue are set to release his debut US single ‘Goodbye Johnny’, so before the madness begins again in the US for Bibby, he back on Aussie soil and set to showcase the folk-ballads about cigarettes at train stations, hypochondria and sleepovers in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth during May.

As Bibby has been a busy bee, we thought we would delve into how he spends his time “On The Road”
