Following the success of of the Red Bull Music Academy stage at Splendour in the Grass a few weeks ago, the Red Bull Music Academy have announced a new Thursday night pre-party! Bringing their finest curatorial game to the Red Bull Music Academy, the good folk at Audiopaxx are treating early Splendour campers to a warm up that will feature the likes of Sydney beatmaker L D R U, Triple J House Party radio host KLP and Splendour returnee Yahtzel.
Fresh off the back of a sold-out national tour as Carmada, the Aussie bros (L D R U & Yahtzel) are returning to the Red Bull Music Academy stage for solo DJ sets, delivering new vibes and motions across the board. Joining them for Thursday’s pre-event will be Swick and Red Bull Music Academy alumni Lewis Cancut, alongside Just A Gent, the youngster who crashed on to the scene after winning the Triple J Unearthed competition last year. Also gracing the fields of North Byron Parklands are Perth duo Slumberjack and fellow WA producer Elk Road. On top of this, Knxwledge will be picking up where Jay Electronica left off.
