Fresh off establishing themselves as WA’s Best Country Act of 2017 courtesy of the WAM Awards, The Little Lord Street Band premiere a music video for their nostalgic and rich single ‘Heartache Moon’.

Coming through with a joyful blend of alternative country and folk-pop, ‘Heartache Moon’ stands out as a track that’s brimming with gentle harmony and narratives of personal resilience. It carries the grit of a blues guitar as well as the finesse of a well constructed pop track, all the while referencing its traditional country roots. This reference to tradition is felt through the music video, a simple set-up as the band performs the track in joyous and hazy glee to an engaged crowd. It’s just plain old nice seeing all these people smiling at each other, looking upon the band and just having a great time listening to this song that seems to be all about not taking your sadness too seriously.

The Little Lord Street Band will be following from their winning streak, currently touring on the West-Coast and about to release another EP with a national tour after that! It seems that if their 2017 was anything to go by, The Little Lord Street Band’s 2018 will be surely one to look out for.

The single will be launched by The Little Lord Street Band on Saturday February 10 at ‘Clancy’s’ in Fremantle.
