It had been 3 years, 9 months and 29 days since Philadelphia Grand Jury broke up.
The trio Joel Beeson, Simon Berckelman, and Dan Williams however are back together, ahead of their second album release Summer Of Doom on October 2nd. Armed and ready to come say hey to fans across the country, accompanied by special guests High-tails, Philadelphia Grand Jury are set to return to stages nationally, fuelled only further by a cloud of three years pent up anticipation, and a whole new album of material.
Their last release and debut album Hope Is For Hopers, gained a higher than anticipated reception, assisting them play hundreds of shows and festivals across Australia, USA, U.K., Europe and even South Africa.
Their latest single ‘Crashing and Burning’ is fuelled by a folky reminisence summer vibe, which utilizes deep bassier sound; complimented only further by melodic guitar riffs, heightened by a fusion of catchy vocals. “Crasing and Burning” paves way for what is sure to be a strong second album edition, and a well recieved celebration of their reforming as a band.
