The water park you didn’t know you wanted is coming to Falls Byron Bay this summer.

Featuring a 9m tall, 20m long water slide as well as four large pools and water fountains, ‘Palm Springs’ will be the perfect way to cool off during the scorching heat of the festival. Protected by life guards and boasting tropical party music, Falls are dubbing this ‘Australia’s biggest pool party.’ The water park is set to replicate the retro stylings of ’80s Californian resorts.

If a massive water park and pool party wasn’t enough, Falls is also bringing the ‘Foxtel Movie Marquee’ to it’s Byron Bay edition. This will be a featuring of Foxtel’s latest movies all in  an air-conditioned area. You’ll have access to your own viewing area where you can browse films, as well as having access to hot, buttered up popcorn.

Of course, these new additions will be exclusive to Byron Bay, where tickets are still being sold.

Byron Bay will see many big name acts playing on New Year’s Eve, including The Wombats, Hilltop Hoods, Peking Duk, comedy legend ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic, and recently announced, Wavves.

Falls Festival Byron Bay will take place from December 31, 2015 – January 3, 2016.
